Hi Mick

Just wanted to let you know, the way you delivered the Belonging session yesterday really set the bar for me on how to engage with challenging interventions. For two hours, I watched you walk the walk of showing colleagues their input is valued, even when the input was taking us off piste and when the level of challenge you were dealing with was really strong. Speaking for myself, if I can show half the level of patient perseverance you demonstrated, making colleagues feel heard while still getting your message across, that will make a material difference to how I can influence stakeholders as well as commercial colleagues in the projects I'm on.

I imagine it can't have been as effortless as you made it look, so a huge thanks from me for showing us how it can be done. Sooner or later the theory of the four steps etc will probably become hazy in my memory, but the practical side will hopefully stick!
